Spend three weeks with Tymi and let her guide you to the next level of your yoga practice through her unique, inspirational, and comprehensive 200/300 hour teacher training program at the world famous Yoga Barn.

Tymi Howard’s yoga teaching training program will take your passion for yoga beyond asana and carry you deeply into the philosophy, history, and spirituality of the practice.

The 200-hour immersion will leave you with the ability to guide others on their hatha yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa flow yoga, meditation, and pranayama journeys.

Your commitment requires a dedication to your personal practice, an abundance of passion, an openness to spiritual fulfillment, and a desire to share the gift of yoga with others.

At the end of the training, you will be qualified for 200-hour teaching certification by Yoga Alliance.

If you are a 300-hour student you will have completed 200 hours towards your 300-hour certification with the remaining 100 hours being completed off site through workshops, homework and videos.

Curriculum:

• Asana (Both YIN and YANG)
• History of Yoga (broad outline of many traditions, detailed examination of the history of Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga)
• Pranayama and Meditation
• Kriyas
• Ayurveda and Yogic Diet
• Physical Anatomy and Subtle Anatomy
• Teaching (physical assists/adjustments of primary Series Asanas, verbalization and cueing, special cases and the “Seat of the Teacher”)
• Sequencing of Asanas, Theming of Classes.
• Mantra and Chanting ,Yoga Philosophy and Sutra Study
• Ethics and Business of Yoga

Unlike most trainings, you will spend almost all of your contact hours with the principal teacher, Tymi Howard, a 500 E-RYT with the Yoga Alliance.

Tymi is the creator/director of Guruv Yoga Studios, facilitator of 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings, as well as a sought-after international teacher and festival presenter.
